John MacArthur on "The Gospel and Politics"

I think MacArthur hits the bulls-eye on this one. I recommend that you check it out.

  1. I read them. His point of view reminds me of the book "Blinded by Might" by Cal Thomas and Ed Dobson. I thought that was the best political perspective I had read.

  2. Dave,

Glad you liked them. Have you read "Why the Cross Can Do What Politics Can't" by Erwin Lutzer? If you like this, and "Blinded by Might," you would probably like that too.

  4. I agree strongly with John MacArthur on this. It's the gospel that is of Christ and the Cross that changes people, not a social gospel.

I think it has also been shown that when we as Christians try to change society in the way of laws and politics we then must align with some very bad bedfellows. Worse than some are trying to extract from the Convention, which is something I could never understand.
